Attach New Yarn Color with k1tbl – slow motion (CC)

(happy jazz piano music) – Welcome to GoodKnit Kisses
Techniques and Tutorials. Hi, I’m Kristen. We’re teaching techniques and tutorials at GoodKnit Kisses to
help keep you in stitches. (chuckles) Today’s clip is from a longer video of a longer tutorial that is a pattern. We are going to shorten
it down for you today, so click on the link in
the description below if you’d like more information or that full video tutorial. All right, let’s begin. Grab our new yarn, cut the old, and I like to hold the
two tails at the back, so that it’s nice and the
stitch is nice and tight. And we’re gonna insert through the back of this loop here, just as we did before. It’ll be a little bit tighter, because those stitches
again, have the old gauge. The slightly smaller size, and then yarn-over and knit that stitch. And that’s all you do to change it. And you’ll weave those tails in later. And also when we come back to join up, you can tie a little loose knot in there. And I like to hold the
two tails at the back, and we’re gonna insert through the back of this loop here, and then yarn-over and knit that stitch. Thanks for joining me on GoodKnit Kisses Technique Tutorials. Be sure to subscribe and
also comment down below and tell me what techniques and stitches that you would like to see. Have a great day, and
happy knit and crochet. (happy jazz piano music)
