June 21, 2018 Reply THarrison004 What do you expect when there's mostly all Democrat appointed Judges on the supreme Court, this is the reason why most of them need to go,and why the hell are they appointed for life,it makes no sense at all to appoint some for life, they should be replaced every four years just like a president is. June 21, 2018 Reply Jason Olson This a good thing. They should pay taxes to each state they do business in, just like any other business. June 21, 2018 Reply Ross Harris Ruin your own "biz" by overcharging ??? No wonder – 1John 2:17 June 21, 2018 Reply Christian Shopping online is cleaner, safer, and better for the earth ( less polution). But it does have collateral economic damage. You might buy more if you shop at stores. You probably will buy lunch or dinner if you go shopping. But there is a ton of carbon ommissions saved by not driving. Fewer accidents on roads. So online is actually cheapet even with a 4% avg increase in product prices. And as a plus, more people employed to sort, pack, and ship. I really don't see a downside, unless you are a mall rat! The Supreme Court has consistently been for big business and the screwing of the PEOPLE. The Supreme Court are sellouts. June 22, 2018 Reply samuils As it has been states in the Washington Post, there are more that 12,000 tax districts now to comply with, how will the small online shops deal with this new nightmare? I dont care about Amazon, I care about a small business that will now have to deal with nightmarish compliance, and the fact that it is not reduction of money by whatever percentage it is, but rather a regulatory bullet to the head that costs much more than one can ever imagine. June 22, 2018 Reply zacho cracy Of course they want to make the price go up, the government isnt making as much money off taxes… June 22, 2018 Reply Leonaza7 This is great news!! More mom and pop shops. June 22, 2018 Reply Bags Direct Inc https://www.bagsdirectusa.com/ June 22, 2018 Reply BlazinNSoul What just blows my mind on this ruling. Is that you don't even have to have a physical presence in that state WTF lol. What if you're just some small shop or individual. Who is running their business out of their home. How the f*** are you going to be able to compete. Dealing with the added headache of thousands of jurisdictions and tax codes. Piled on top of everything else lol. Amazon will probably weather this okay. But if you are a small/medium business or entrepreneur. Your options just got a lot more complicated. It also could affect how people make purchases online. Which is probably what these major corporations wanted anyways. They never liked the internet and would rather see it disappear. :/ June 22, 2018 Reply Underyourbedeyes https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative write your representative June 22, 2018 Reply William Sanford This is just wrong! If I buy a out of state car, the state I buy it in does not charge me tax, I pay the tax when I purchase my tag in my home state. On line businesses do not have the right to collect tax from out of state customers, I will not comply, I will move out of the country first!
